Before & After

This was one of my favorite spots in the house for color (looking upward from the kitchen into the hallway towards the dining room). It's unbelievable how different it is now.
Before painting (really cool) ...

... after painting (really boring).

Before haircut ...................................... after haircut.
Tally's a little self-conscious of the bow that the groomer weaved into the little bit of fur she had left on her head.

Let the painting begin :o(

The realtors said we had to neutralize the Weston house before putting it on the market. It's hard to believe we had white walls for eleven years before going color crazy four years ago. I guess that's what happens when you watch too much HGTV. It's very sad to see the colors go!
There goes the pink & electric blue in the breakfast room & kitchen ...

the yellow in the living & dining room ...

and my favorite faux finish in the master bathroom.

Tally doesn't mind helping (she only got paint on her butt once) ...

... as long as somebody covers her with a drop cloth when nap time comes around.

more Mona!

Well Rob wasn't kidding. He DID "paint" a Mona Lisa using ketchup. He even baked it in the oven for preservation. Jana noticed that Rob used his artistic license to give Mona Lisa some cleavage.

We sure have some talented designers! Here are the artists with their masterpieces.

After the painting unveiling, Mike & Chris went to shoot a First Tee kids clinic. Here's the last picture Chris shot before the clinic ended abruptly.

the parking lot

Today was a big shopping day. I had to go to BJs, Sam's Club, Home Depot, Lowes & Super Target. When I got to BJs, I happened upon a small car show in the parking lot. Luckily I had my F30, since old cars are hard for me to resist.

Mona

Today Mike unknowingly created a masterpiece using a new medium. He had a cup of ice water sitting on a paper towel on his desk. There were some gumballs from his giant 850 count box on the paper towel as well. Before he knew what was happening, a vision appeared, formed by the cup condensation & gumballs. The resemblance is uncanny.

When we were leaving the office Rob said he had to go buy ketchup. Apparently he took a dare to make a ketchup Mona Lisa this weekend. I'm not sure if he's serious. I guess I'll have to wait until Monday.

Sergio's fans were a little out-of-control!

Scorching Saturday

I went to "The Perch" to do a shoot with Bob Costas. I accidentally got there an hour early so no one was around. I amused myself by taking a blog photo on the set, then I came back an hour later.

The heat was even taking its toll on this gator. He decided to take a dip in the water off the 18th fairway.

Peter and crew came to town to shoot panoramas. He lent me his 35mm roundshot.

Behind the scenes with Nick & Kelly

There is always a lot of primping before going on the air.

It's like butta!

My favorite thing to shoot at the International Dinner was the butter.

Yes Ma'am!

Since Tiger wasn't gonna be at the past champions portrait unveiling at the Clubhouse Grand Opening Gala tonight, he stopped by after his practice round to do the honors. At first he wasn't smiling, so when I asked him to smile, he said, "Yes Ma'am!"
I guess he knew I meant business. ;o) He's got a great smile!
Here he is with his oil painting by Dallas based illustrator Bart Forbes ...

and watercolor illustration by Connecticut based artist Chris Duke.

John can't help himself ... he has to sneek a peek!

Stan, Mary & John loiter ...

while I stalk Jack Nicklaus & the Commissioner.

Not to be upstaged, Chris & Stan decide to plan their strategy.

While I crawl on the floor before the past champions group shot.

John, Deborah & I headed back to the office to transmit. Mary & Chris left after the Sunset Room reception. Stan stayed to shoot the dinner.

Early Birds!

It's the first day of the 2007 PLAYERS Championship week. Pat took Mary & me around the course to shoot some pix at sunrise.

Cinco de Mayo

Today was Mary's birthday. She drove up to PVB for the week to shoot THE PLAYERS. Brandon went to shoot the UBS 17th Hole Challenge in Rockefeller Center.

The clubhouse was almost finished ...

but they had a small set-back ...
I wonder what Mike's gonna do next?

the stands were full of fans ... literally ...

so the golfers were teeing off ...

even though the front & back nine were closed.

A lot goes into assembling the Monsterboard on 17.

I can't believe they're painting the bleachers.

The crew who built the mini replica of 17 in Rockefeller Center put the finishing touches on the UBS Golf Challenge in THE PLAYERS Tournament Village.
