Happy Family

Stella went to visit her parents Laddie & Rosie this afternoon. They're always so happy to see each other & everybody had a great play date.

Then it was off to the beach for a run with Rob.

The Top-5

Today's priority was to help with a photo-op featuring the top-5 players in the FedExCup point standings. When I got to the course, I set up the lights on the first tee while Chris shot a clinic.

After everything was in place, I ran into the interview room to shoot the press conference announcing Ernie Els induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Chris shot a nice picture of the top-5. From left to right: Steve Stricker #4, Dustin Johnson #2, Matt Kuchar #1, Charley Hoffman #3 and Paul Casey #5.

After the real photos we tried to get the guys to joke around.

Chris' photo went up on usatoday.com right after the shoot.

One last dinner at Agave before heading to the airport.

Fresh chile & herb rubbed rack of lamb grilled, sliced & served over New Mexico red chile purée with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus & garnished with a cool corn relish, cut cilantro & rosemary. Yum!

Test Shot

Nice painting & sculpture in the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton.

On my way to Starbucks I passed the Hard Rock Cafe.

Chris recruited some stand-ins to do a test for tomorrow's photo. Laura & I jumped in at the end.

Vintage Coke cooler in the clubhouse at East Lake Golf Club.

Bobby Jones knick knacks are displayed everywhere.

THE TOUR Championship: scouting, etc.

After an early morning flight to Atlanta & scouting for our Wednesday morning top-5 photo at East Lake Golf Club, I headed downtown to check into the hotel.

I was surprised to see my photos of the clubhouse & trophy on my hotel key.

There was nice light streaming in my window.

After settling in, I met Chris for dinner at my favorite Atlanta restaurant ... Agave.

Sherry & John came over for smoothies & a visit with Stella.

There's never a shortage of kisses when Stella's in the house.

Keep on Truckin'

Rob designed the most amazing bike jersey for Team PGA TOUR to wear in the MS 150 Cycle to the Shore. I become mesmerized everytime I look at it. It's so AWESOME!

Here's a close-up. He said his Illustrator file probably had 10,000 layers!
That's NUTS!

Here's the template. It's incredible to watch it "build" one layer at a time.

Today SI posted a gallery of the Top-10 Men's Tennis Players of All Time. My Wimbledon Agassi cover is on the left & Mary's Roland Garros cover is on the right.

My Pete Sampras cover on the left was from his first ever Grand Slam win at the US Open. I'm bummed Jimmy Connors didn't make the top-10.

I swore I would never dress Stella up, but on our trip to Petco, she begged me to let her try on this hippie bus Halloween costume. I think she likes it.

Stella wouldn't get any closer while Rob photographed & fed the ducks, turtles & fish.

Rob & Stella were spooning on the lounge chair.

I think they're in love! I might have to rename my blog "Rob & Stella"!!!

9-11 Fishing

There were no clouds in the sky, so I had to make do with the big bright sun.

It was a slow day, despite all of the birds flying overhead. John caught a whiting.

Sherry made a rare & unprecedented visit, so I needed photographic proof. I wonder if they planned their outfits?

Early morning kayaker.

Rob didn't have a good day ...

... his final cast resulted in a bird's nest.

Here are 23 pelicans, but there were a ton more that wouldn't fit in the frame. I never saw so many flying together.

Saturday Morning Fishing

Sunrise at the Cabana Club.

I amused myself by shooting a bunch of giant conchs.

There's never a shortage of pups on the beach.

When I saw this dragonfly on Rob's shirt I said, "don't even budge!"

Rob was so happy he caught the first & almost only fish.

John wasn't giving up.

He finally caught dinner ... a big speckled trout.

I think Rob has fish envy!
