Charlie's 7th Birthday

After work I headed over to Matt & Ilona's to celebrate Charlie's 7th birthday. Maddie is so smiley!

Stella's Busy Saturday

Today was Stella's first day of positive behavior modification training with Tracee from Zoomeez Dog Training.

After Tracee left, I decided to put Stella's food (instead of treats) in one of her puzzles. I couldn't fool her. She wouldn't eat the last 3 sections.

She did, however, find a delicious stick in the backyard.

After an exhausting day, I found her passed out in the guest bedroom. She's never done that before LOL!

Fashion Show

Many thanks to the Southern Women's Show Jacksonville, Sessions Modeling Studio & the American Kidney Fund for allowing us to share Matt's story this weekend & hand out postcards at their booths, while Maddie & Charlie enjoyed a fun afternoon of modeling fancy clothes for Dillard's. Matt didn't miss a beat & was there both days to support the kids during the fashion shows.

October Birthday Cake Shortage

We could only cut the cake into 16 slices ...

... but we have 24 people in our building. It disappeared pretty quickly!

Sunday with Rhoda

I saw a cool projector at an estate sale this morning. I resisted & didn't buy it, but of course I had to photograph the beautiful MCM packaging.

Sandy & Larry's friend Rhoda came to JAX to meet Matt & Ilona. She has so much experience with kidney transplants & will help with Matt's campaign. Maddie & Charlie made a welcome sign.

After Ilona & Enid picked up Rhoda at the airport, Mary & I met them at Black Sheep in 5 Points for lunch. I had yummy mac & cheese.

Bonus ... both Google & Stella loved meeting & hanging out with Rhoda.

Home then Beach

Exhausted after sleep-away camp!

After 2 weeks at Pet Paradise Resort, Stella & Google definitely need a shower.  There's nothing better than a trip to the beach first.
