Riley Pickup!!!

Big day today! I'm adopting a 2+ year old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier named Riley! I'm so excited!!!

When we got there, I met Riley & her parents Dublin & Maggie May.

Does anyone want a treat?

Google & Mary met everyone too. We wanted to make sure Google liked Riley.

Pat is so happy Riley is going to a good home with a mom who's gonna spoil her. My friends all said Riley hit the mommy jackpot!

 

I think she likes road trips. She was so happy to get in the car.

I sat in the backseat with Riley & Google rode shotgun with Mary.

Riley wasn't sure where she was going but she was so smiley the whole drive.

When we got to Mary's house, Google got in the pen we set up for Riley ...

 

... while Riley relaxed from the long trip home.

Sarasota Visit

Today we stopped in Sarasota to visit Lauren & Poe on our way to Bradenton.

 

Google met Poe last year when Lauren & Mike came to Peace Love & Vans.

 

  

 

Christmas at Barbara's House

I'm not sure how they got me to dress up for this photo!

Google wanted to know why there were only 3 place settings.

Cookie Baking

Today, Barbara, Mary & I made Christmas cookies & Hamantaschen.

Google didn't know we were also making cookies for him ...

... so he decided to eat a carrot!

Embassy Truck Wash & Cookies!

Wow! We took our Embassy to Blue Beacon Truck Wash & it's sooooo clean!!!

No more salt or dirt everywhere. It's crazy compared to the pix on yesterday's blog post.

When we got back to my house, there were surprise cookies from Sue & Scott! Super Meier Cookies are the BEST!!!

Driving South

Google loves using his steps to get in the camper.

 

Our Embassy is so dirty!!! Salt from all of the snow sure makes a mess! We're gonna have to find a truck wash on the way home.

 

 

Snowy Travel Day

Google loved checking out the snow at our hotel this morning.

 

 It was beautiful!

 Time to get the snow & ice off the Embassy for the drive home.
