The Giant Spoon!

... when she happened upon something REALLY big! She barked at it when she saw her reflection.

She wasn't quite sure what to make of Alan's giant spoon ...

... but I think she liked it when Rob gave her a ride!

10 Years!

Today John presented JR with his 10-year service award.

Awww ... they both got a little choked up!

Invisible Fence Training

I came home at lunchtime to a bragging pup. Stella was so proud of her shredded pee pad masterpiece.

She had Invisible Fence training all week. Apparently she's an excellent student!

I eliminated the middle panel in today's "What The Duck." I like it better now.

Beach Day

Stella & I went to the beach. This picture makes her look really big!

She passed out in the car on the way home!

Day 3 ... Puppy Maternity Leave

I seem to be faring well on my third day of puppy maternity leave. It's definitely a lot more exhausting than going to work. This morning they came to install the Invisible Fence. Next week Stella has five fence training sessions to learn the finer points of how not to shock herself.

The line in the backyard got buried in the water, so she can go about 2 feet from the edge.

Stella wore herself out with the toy Rob gave her.

Stella Goes to the Vet

Shots, nails trimmed, heartworm meds ... normal puppy stuff. Stella enjoyed her first visit to Dr. Darnell.

Move-In Day!

Today is the big day I've been waiting for. I get to bring Stella home after watching her grow up for the last 10 weeks.

She felt right at home.

Scott & Sue brought Stella her very own digital camera ...

... it attaches to her collar, so she started shooting right away. I didn't know I was getting a puptographer.

Flat Stanley

John & Sherry worked really hard to complete their first grade project. They photographed Flat Stanley all over town & made a nice book. Silly me ... I thought they graduated from first grade a looooong time ago!

THE PLAYERS Final Round

I spotted this dragonfly on the way to 17 but didn't have a long enough lens for the picture I envisioned. I walked back to the media center, got a longer lens, went back to the sign & the dragonfly was still there.

NBC had a remote controlled "eyeball-cam" in the water on 17.

Some fans were having my Alphalam crane photo autographed.

I asked Rob to shoot Phil ... well, actually the sign on his parking spot.

Evanne ... the Ambassador.
