JAX-JFK-CBC

I took a 6am flight to JFK. The weather was beautiful so I went to Catalina with mom, Hank & Adam. I think I got the cabana boys in trouble when I asked Sandy where the flags were. She made a call & minutes later the flags were all up.

I never noticed this number carved in the door of one of the owner's cabanas. Shot with the iPhone 4 & processed in Photoshop Mobile.

Sandy hates that I amuse myself by shooting over 50 years of accumulated paint drips. I actually prefer peeling paint & rust but I'm trying to expand my horizons.

I'm not sure why I always like shooting these flags.

Sisters

Stella & I had special visitors today. Her sister Bretton came over with Barbara & Charlie. The pups look like 2 different breeds but they're both Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. Stella has an Irish coat & Bretton has an American coat. Eventually they'll both be the same light color.

Backyard Fun!

Stella got to test-drive her new kiddie pool. I figured she'd love to splash around since she does that every time I put down her water bowl ...

... but what she REALLY wanted was to play with the hose. She LOVES getting squirted!

She wasn't too happy after her shower, but posed for a nice pic anyway. I don't understand why she loves getting squirted by the hose but loathes getting squirted by the shower head. It's really the same thing ... but how do you explain that to a puppy? Shot with my iPhone 4 & processed with Photoshop Mobile ... LOVE IT!

Meet the Parents

After work, Stella went to visit her parents, Rosie & Laddie at Laura's house. It's the first time she's seen them since she moved out 2 months ago. I'm pretty sure they knew each other. Adorable!

Neighborhood Dog Walk

Renee & Tory came by to see if Stella & I wanted to join them in an evening walk. There was a beautiful sunset! We planned to practice the stuff Stella has been learning with the dog trainer.

By the middle of our walk we were joined by Suzy-Q, Holly & Charlie. All of the pups enjoyed a little playtime.

Since I knew Stella would lose her black tips with her first grooming, I had to shoot before & after photos.

A few minutes after Rob shot this pic, Stella bit my lip & blood started gushing. He got a good shot but it's a little too gory to post.

Day of Beauty

Today Stella turned 4 months old & what better way to celebrate than to get her first haircut!

She was a little apprehensive at first when Lorie tried to introduce her to the clippers.

Stella & the Windshield Wipers

On the way home from the vet today it started to rain. When I turned on the wipers, Stella went crazy! She barked, turned on my hazard lights & shifted me into neutral. I waited until we got home to reenact the incident for this video. Too funny!

New Friends

Stella & I both made a new friend. Julie wants to get a pup (or 2) so I told her she had to meet Stella. I think they like each other!
