New Deck Furniture

Mary got new deck furniture today.

Once we put the cushions on, Stella & Google made themselves comfortable.

Smart Washer & Dryer

Google & Stella were wondering why they were stuck out on the patio without us.

The old washer & dryer was being replaced by new tech wifi AI machines that can sense the contents & figure out how to do your wash without your input. It texts you & plays a song you choose when it's done. It also has safety features, like I got with my first load that said, "Duct blockage 80%. Check home exhaust system before using dryer." Wow!

Google approves!

UM Visit & Memorial Reception

Today we went down to my old stomping grounds at the University of Miami. Stella & I posed with the "U"

Google didn't want to pose. He was ready to check out the whole campus.

We ran into our friend Preston & his son.

It was so great to see lots of old friends, classmates & colleagues at the memorial reception honoring my Photojournalism Professor Michael Carlebach. We all loved Michael so much! My friend Carl Juste was one of the speakers. In true photojournalism style, I had to post this pic in black & white LOL.

... Carl & Preston moved right in for a close up.

It was so great to see Jimmy Bollettieri aka Jimmyboy. We have kept in touch over the years but I hadn't seen him in awhile.

Delray Foodies

Mary & I tried Death By Pizza for the first time today. It's amazing Detroit Style pizza.

While we were driving around, we found the old Delray Shores Pharmacy & Soda Fountain. I love the old MCM style of the building.

Big Delray Cleanup

Everyone pitched in today to help clean up in Delray. Sandy trimmed threads off old Nike bags (with Stella's help).

When Sandy was done, Google & Mary took a break on the patio.

After today's cleanup, Wendy & I posed with the trash by the curb.

 

The next morning, I noticed some suitcases, Nike bags & coolers were missing. Someone got some good trash.

After going out to dinner & having birthday Tiramisu at Avellino's Italian Restaurant in Delray Beach, I opened lots of presents before delicious birthday cake with Andy, Wendy, Bonnie, Molly, Ashley & Mary.

Stella's 14th Birthday

Stella is resting up for her birthday celebration.

Stella doesn't mind that I'm repurposing my birthday decorations for her party. It's best for the environment!

Stella & Google loved the yogurt on their lick mats. The suction cups on the bottom held them really still on the glass coffee table.

When Mary took a photo, Google & Stella switched lick mats to make sure they each did a good job.

Surprise! ... It Sure Was!!!

Mary baked her famous roll cake this morning with Google's help.

We packed up the brownies & cake & headed over to Matt & Ilona's house.

I had no idea what was going on when we got there. Why was there a party? Whose birthday was it? I thought we were just going to hang out. If you really want to surprise someone, have their party a week early! I was so surprised to see Sherry & John!
