3 V's ... Vermont & VWs & Vrbo

First stop today was the visitor center in Guilford, VT. It was really nice.

 

There was a giant carving of a dog by artist Stephen Huneck. It was over 6 feet tall.

 

While driving around, we happened upon John's Car Corner, VW Parts, Sales & Service in Westminster, VT. They had a sign in the window that said, "Please feel free to take all the photos you like ... inside as well." Now that's my kind of place!!!

The North Fork ... Greenport, Orient Point Ferry to New London

We stopped at Briermere Farms in Riverhead to pick up a raspberry pie to take on our trip to Vermont.

We spent some time walking around Greenport before our ferry trip.

The Coast Guard Eagle was docked at the Marina & giving tours.

I remember this carousel in Mitchell Park from my childhood.

Riley wanted to check out the giant camera obscura.

We had ice cream & Riley had a pup cup at Greenport Creamery.

We boarded the Cross Sound Ferry in Orient Point.

The deck was really hot but Riley found a spot in the shade.

Riley loves making friends everywhere she goes. 

Heading towards New London, CT. It was our Embassy's first ride on a ferry.

Family Day at Richard & Lisa's House

Lots of family got together today for a pool party at Richard & Lisa's house in Laurel.

Back at the Southold house, we had yummy NoFo Pot Pies for dinner ... Chicken Pot Pie, Short Rib Pot Pie, Vegetarian Pot Pie & Shepherd's Pie.
