Today I tested my new D4Ss & 70-200 f/4. Luckily my favorite subject was in the backyard chewing on a stick.

South Florida Road Trip

It's time to head south for the WGC Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral. Stella loves road trips, especially when she's going to Grandma's house.

She settled in for the long trip to Grandma's house for her birthday week vacation. Somebody's gonna get spoiled!

Ugh! Last night Stella attacked this snake. Since I thought it was dead, I put it in the bushes so I had time to research if it was poisonous. This morning I picked it up with a stick & put it in the lake. I freaked out when all of a sudden it started breathing. I picked it up again & flung it pretty far. Too much excitement before going to work.

Paving started today in the hood. Gonna be messy!

Yay! We have a new backyard!

Sand & dirt was all over my house. The floor crunched when you walked on it.

No Hunting!

Luckily I got my car out of the garage before the fill dirt got dumped in the driveway!

As a joke my contractor put a "No Hunting" sign in the dirt for about 10 minutes.

Within a half hour, I got a call from the Property Manager's office. One of my neighbors complained I was installing a 6'x4' "No Hunting" sign in my front yard. Seriously! Hilarious!

Bulkhead Brrrrr!

It was in the low 40s when the guys resumed building.

It was so cold out, I had a hot latte. I usually only drink iced.
