Starbucks

Starbuck's was having an amazing 25% off sale so I had to stock up on espresso beans. I bought 10 lbs for me & 10 lbs for my mom.

Me: Can I get a box so I can send 10lbs to my mom?
Barista: Where does your mom live that they don't have Starbucks?!?
Me: South Florida! She has one less than a mile from her house!
Barista: Then why are you buying them?
Me: No comment!

Evanne's Waffle Party

Today we had the first waffle party in years. I can't believe I used to have them about twice a month! Lauren painted a beautiful portrait of Yogi as a retirement gift for Evanne.

Mary & I went to see Elton John's Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena tonight. The last time I saw Elton was in 1992 with Eric Clapton at Shea Stadium. Here's an article about that awesome concert 27 years ago!
