This is Creative Services Halloween card. Jana was Sally from the Nightmare Before Christmas, Carrie was John Rice, Mike was Colonel Sanders & Rob was Edward Scissorhands.
Rob toned down his costume to Edward's hedge-cutting scene wardrobe to make it more work appropriate.
John Snow came by to see everyone's costume & to document their annual lunchtime trek to Publix.
As always, the local kids came to our office studio while trick-or-treating. This little girl was terrified to have her photo taken while she was wearing her shark head. Her dad made this awesome costume using a motorcycle helmet.
As soon as she took off her helmet, she was all smiles!
Rocketboy & Woody from Toy Story.
I love this one. She reminds me of Erik Estrada in CHiPs (link provided for those who were born after 1983).
The ladybug & Lightning McQueen.
Jessie the Cowgirl from Toy Story & Spidergirl.
Darth Vader(ette)
Anna dressed Hank up in a Tyler suit. He even has his very own PGA TOUR Rules Official credential. Love it!!!

Edward Scissorhands
As always, Rob's Halloween costume did not disappoint! He even won a well-deserved $500 first place award at a costume contest!
Greg & Renee posed with Eddie.
Stella did NOT like Edward! She barked nonstop, even though he smelled a lot like Rob!

The End of an Era :-(
The day I've been dreading for the past 2 years is finally here. UGH! John is retiring. We're all very sad, but so happy for him. I'm gonna be permanently despondent! He is the best boss on the planet & an amazing mentor! I've learned so much from him over the past 5 years. There will be a lot of contemplating WWJD (What Would John Do) over the next few months.
I made a retirement survival kit to make his transition a little easier. All of John's favorite snacks are included ... Corn Nuts, Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Brownies, Black Twizzlers & Nature Valley Granola Thins. Maybe he'll come visit when he runs out of snacks!
Wow, he didn't waste any time ... John & Sherry are on the cover of Retirement for Dummies!
Is this card perfect, or what?!?
Both happy ... both sad ... one happy, one sad ...
I wonder how long it'll take John to drive Sherry crazy, being home all of the time? Hopefully she'll send him back to the office!
Before John could retire ... he had to partake in one more office Halloween extravaganza! Jana greeted all of the kiddies as they arrived at our haunted office.
Some of the kids were so scared! One of them asked John if he was a real person.
Rob's costume never disappoints ... his Mad Hatter was amazing!
His eyebrows were very creepy!
Jana & Mike
It appears John waited a tad too long to retire!
Chris & Carrie
After I shot our staff, Rob put together our annual office card.
John & Evanne shared a laugh in the parking lot while Rob adjusted his costume in the tinted window.
John made a video of his staff on their annual costumed walk to Publix.
They got lots of stares once they were inside the store.
While everybody waited in the express line, Rob displayed an Alice in Wonderland dvd with his twin brother Johnny Depp on the cover.
Just another day at the office ... but truly the end of an era! :-(
I think I need to go fishing!!!

Keep on Truckin'
Rob designed the most amazing bike jersey for Team PGA TOUR to wear in the MS 150 Cycle to the Shore. I become mesmerized everytime I look at it. It's so AWESOME!
Here's a close-up. He said his Illustrator file probably had 10,000 layers!
That's NUTS!
Here's the template. It's incredible to watch it "build" one layer at a time.
Today SI posted a gallery of the Top-10 Men's Tennis Players of All Time. My Wimbledon Agassi cover is on the left & Mary's Roland Garros cover is on the right.
My Pete Sampras cover on the left was from his first ever Grand Slam win at the US Open. I'm bummed Jimmy Connors didn't make the top-10.
I swore I would never dress Stella up, but on our trip to Petco, she begged me to let her try on this hippie bus Halloween costume. I think she likes it.
Stella wouldn't get any closer while Rob photographed & fed the ducks, turtles & fish.
Rob & Stella were spooning on the lounge chair.
I think they're in love! I might have to rename my blog "Rob & Stella"!!!

Halloween
Rosie shows off her handiwork ... she hung 15 old wooden tennis racquets that I've been collecting, as a border on 3 walls in my Florida room. It definitely looks better than their former location ... on the top shelf of a closet for over 10 years. My favorites are the ones with little portraits of the players.

Then Rosie, Rob & I went to Shakti Life Kitchen for lunch. It's an organic, vegan, live & gluten free restaurant in Atlantic Beach.

Rosie had a "cheeseburger" ...

Rob & I had a Buckwheat Bean Burrito ... sprouted buckwheat beans, sunflower seed cream cheese, fresh greens, tomato, & sweet onion rolled in a fiesta spinach pepper wrap. It was pretty good, but eating this healthy is expensive.

We ran some errands on the way home, then went to pick up Mary at the airport. On the way back we stopped at Taco Lu & had lunch #2 (which ultimately ended up being dinner since we were too full to eat later).

Rosie helped Rob paint the hard-to-reach areas ...

... from the back of his head to inside his ear.

Mary whittled a support for the new VW bus metal sculpture, out of scrap wood she found in the garage.

Ilona was truly scared & creeped out by Rob.

Much to Anna's surprise, Rob decided to get completely into character.

We celebrated Rosie's birthday a day early since she & Mary are leaving at 5:30am tomorrow.
