THE PLAYERS Final Round

Laura & Ty during our final trophy walkthru.

I was busy wrangling the photographers but I managed to snap Matt with the trophy with my iPhone.

THE PLAYERS Third Round

The Commissioner had no problem hitting a ball onto the mini 17th green.

Phil always signs with a smile.

THE PLAYERS Second Round

Rob had a busy day today ... first he was an ambassador ... then he took a boat out to Bird Island to shoot a panorama of 17.

Later on he went to shoot the trophy around the course with Stan.

Guess whose pocket ... I'll give you one hint.

This kid's mustache was drawn on with a ball point pen.

More Fowler fans wait for autographs.

They're everywhere!

Military Appreciation Day

Jaxson de Ville showed off his hula skills during the Peds Care event in Stadium Village.

17th green themed quilt.

Mary stumbled upon all of the characters' heads on the way back to the media center.

I LOVE the air-conditioned benches that are scattered around the course. I'd like one for my backyard!

There were only 4 planes in the flyover.

Not being fond of country music, I never heard of Luke Bryan, but he sure has a lot of fans.

Greg & Renee came out for the show.

World Golf Championships - Cadillac Championship

First thing this morning, The Donald said hello to me. He was really nice & didn't fire anyone. And yes, his hair was mesmerizing!

Mission accomplished at 10:52am!!! Time to tear down the studio.

Mini desserts in the members clubhouse ...

After shooting headshots today, I ventured out on the course to shoot one of my favorite subjects ... flags.

Headshots at Doral

After arriving at Doral Golf Resort & Spa last night, the first thing I saw at the front desk was Donald Trump's announcement that he bought the property.

I set up my headshot studio in the locker room first thing this morning.

To test the lights before I could find a human, I opted for an orchid.

Backlit fountain near the World Golf Championships sculpture.

Mmmmm! Thai donuts at SooWoo.

Wednesday in the Desert

This morning I went out to PGA West at La Quinta Resort & Club to do some shooting prior to the start of the Humana Challenge.

There's a beautiful new trophy this year. It was very challenging to photograph. The clear glass trophy has different logos etched on all 4 sides & light refracts in every direction.

I tagged along with PGA TOUR Entertainment while they filmed the trophy in some scenic locations on the course.

Awesome Bob Hope golf cart.

Back at the Renaissance Esmeralda, there was a small reception for President Clinton. He was presented with a PGA TOUR golf bag embroidered with his name & signed by all of the players in the field.

There were nice fire pits around the pool area to keep guests warm during the cold desert nights.

The Presidents Cup Day 4 & Closing Ceremony

While I was waiting for the shuttle at the Crown Towers, there were Samoyeds everywhere I looked, waiting to pull a sleigh. There were probably about 20 of them & a couple were puppies.

Chris, Stan & me on the first tee.

It was REALLY windy!

The Closing Ceremony followed ... about an hour after play was completed.

Ladder please! Surrounded by photographers, Stan tries to get all of the players to look at him.

Chris got up on the front of the ladder.

This was what they were shooting ... the more casual of the two USA's team photos.
