Road Trip North

I'm pretty sure my mom bought the new house for her granddog. Stella loved spending the week there & getting spoiled..

She was sad to leave but there aren't many things better than a four & a half hour ride.

On the road again ... Stella couldn't wait to get on the road again ...

JARC Gala

I spent an extra day in South Florida so I could go to the JARC Gala at Boca West.

It was a great night for fundraising.

All of the appetizers were amazing. This is the Peking Duck cocktail.

The filet mignon was fab.

Dessert tasted as good as it looked.

Polaroid FOTOBAR

Since Cadillac is over for me, I'm spending my birthday weekend in Delray Beach at my mom & Hank's new house. They've been having a blast pupsitting for Stella while I was at Doral. After all, I'm pretty sure they bought this house for Stella.

One thing I was looking forward to was to go to the first & so far only, Polaroid FOTOBAR that opened about 2 weeks ago at the Delray Marketplace.

They are hoping to open at least 10 new FOTOBAR shops around the United States over this coming year, with locations ranging from New York & Boston to Las Vegas. This innovative concept is pretty cool so I think they'll do well.

He even came back outside after his presser & signed plenty of autographs.

Stella's New Vacation Home

While I was in the house & Stella was on the screened patio, I overheard somebody say, "& who are you, you little cutie?!?"

When I took Stella out in the backyard ...

... she got to meet a new friend, Mika. They had an impromptu playdate. When Mika's mom found out it was Stella's 3rd birthday, they came back to visit with a special bag of birthday treats.

Of course I had to point the lizard on the door to Stella.

I'm definitely to blame for my scratched window tinting. I totally encouraged Stella to go after the lizard. Usually she paws at the bottom of the door when they're are on the paver steps.

Car Show

I just happened to park my car next to this very cool train at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. Engine 1504 was built during World War I for the US Railway Administration. In it's heyday, this locomotive hauled passenger trains in & out of Florida.

I never get tired of shooting rust & peeling paint!
