Sunday Funday

Even though she just finished her bowl (yes bowl, not shot glass) of whipped cream, Stella had her eye on my bacon, egg & cheese ciabatta. A few people stopped to compliment Stella on how well behaved she is.

3 Dog Night. Stella Google & Luke had the zoomies all over the house. I thought they were going to pass out but they still wanted to play.

Maddie & Charlie picked out this really nice camera hook for my birthday present.

Backyard Wildlife

Our backyard anhinga often sits on the bulkhead taunting Stella Levy. He knows she can't get to him because of our invisible fence ... so I had to take care of business.

I had my finger on the shutter button of my iPhone 6 while I ran up to chase him away.  This is part of a 30 frame sequence. I got a bunch of good ones (& crappy ones where the wings were in a bad position). Crazy it was shot with my iPhone. Here's one right when the anhinga took off ...

We had a delicious birthday dinner at Renee & Greg's with Matt & Ilona. This lizard was hiding under the fire pit taunting Stella.

Doggie Crack!

I saw a segment on Shark Tank for Himalayan Dog Chews. The company already had $5.6 million in sales & valued their company at $15 million! CRAZY!!! Three Sharks made an offer but the entrepreneurs turned them down. A few weeks later I saw the chews on Groupon & decided to give them a try. It was $27 for 12 chews ... regularly $108!

I gave one to Stella. She had been chewing it on the couch for a half hour when I decided to pet her. All of a sudden she growled & showed her teeth ... TO ME! She's never, ever, ever done that, especially to me! I ended up having to take it away from her to teach that I wasn't going to tolerate food aggression.

They are sooooo delicious & like doggie crack!

Birthday Week

Mary took me to Biscotti's in Avondale for my birthday lunch. It was fab!

Double Birthday with Family

When my Mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I said I wanted her to kiss Stella on her lips. It almost happened, but not quite. I definitely think she needs to partake in the University of Arizona's new study ... proof that dog kisses are VERY healthy!

Stella's 5th Birthday

If Stella Levy was with me at Doral, she'd be having a great birthday dinner from Donald Trump's "Pamper Your Pet" room service menu (I'm not making this up). A bottle of Fiji water, roasted sirloin with brown rice & an organic Big Woof bone for dessert. That would set me back $61 including tax, service & delivery charges! Hopefully grandma is pampering Stella on her special day.

Stella would probably like the Calm Aromatic Pillow from the special pillow menu ... Experience stillness & quiet thoughts. Sage, safflower & orange blossom are blended to relax, soothe & prepare your body for a restful evening of deep sleep. I can't believe I haven't found a doggie spa menu!
