A Night with Janis Joplin

Tonight I went to see the Broadway show A Night with Janis Joplin with Greg, Renee & Mary at the Florida Theatre. It was an awesome tribute!

As soon as Rickie arrived at TPC Sawgrass, he got his locker in the Champions locker room.

Even though it was still under construction, Rickie hit from the Benefactor deck onto 17.

EarthWise Pet Grand Opening Weekend

It was the grand opening weekend at EarthWise Pet in Jax Beach. On Saturday, I met Lisa & Taser there.

On Sunday, Renee & I took Stella & Tory for a bath.

Stella has no idea what's going on. She's wondering why we're not doing this at home in the shower.

Mystery Cake

When I went to walk Stella after work, I found someone left a piece of homemade bundt cake on my front doorstep. No note ... nothing! It smelled great but how could I consider eating anything when I didn't know who left it there? I ended up throwing it out & 2 weeks later one of my neighbors asked if I enjoyed the cake she left me. Ugh!

Amy & Bruce at Madison Square Garden

I was sitting on the couch in the family room when my cousin Andrea texted me this pic. She wrote, "Isn't this your friend Amy?" Andrea was at the concert at Madison Square Garden when Bruce pulled Amy up on stage for Dancing in the Dark.

Amy is the biggest Springsteen fan on the planet. She's seen him over a hundred times & has every ticket stub, organized chronologically in an album (including our first show New Year's Eve 1980 at the Nassau Coliseum ... almost 4 hours for $10.50). Tonight she put on quite the show for all of the fans.

Here's a video from the front of the stage & another from behind the stage. Both are awesome!

After the concert, fans wanted to pose with her in Penn Station & wanted her autograph. A few days later, her story went viral & she was featured in an article on an Italian website. Bruce, il suo profumo buonissimo e la… personificazione della felicità!

Senior Stars!

Last June, my friend Peter Ginter came to Delray Beach to shoot an ad for Bayer with Hank, Nora & Marilyn. They liked the photos so much that they used them in the Annual Report as well. Next up is a video shoot. I'm bummed & won't be able to go down to watch since it's right before THE PLAYERS.

Dual Birthday

I missed my birthday cake at the office but I got to go to dinner at my favorite restaurant in Delray Beach, 3G's Gourmet Deli & Restaurant, with mom, Hank & Adam. I can't believe I didn't take any pix! That's so unlike me. At least Chris sent me a pic of my cake.

Grandma bought Stella a bully stick for her birthday. She's never had one & loves it!

I couldn't believe what happened when I walked Stella in Delray this morning. On our usual walk around the pond in my mom's neighborhood, Stella took me on a detour. I had no idea where she was going but decided it would be good for a change of scenery. I was amazed when Stella walked me straight to Burt & Nora's front door! They live 2 neighborhoods away, a mile & a half from my mom & Hank. She's never traveled between the houses except by car. She's so smart! Nobody was home & Stella was really thirsty so Hank came to pick us up.

This sign is in the parking lot of The Boys Farmers Market. I'm not sure what it means.
