It looks like an old theater marquee but it's really a Barnes & Noble at Georgia College.
Of course college towns have multiple bookstores.
On the way to our cabin we stopped at Central State Hospital in Milledgeville, GA. We love photographing old abandoned buildings. It was once the largest mental institution in the world ... 2,000 acres. Georgia lawmakers authorized the building in 1837.

Today is Stella's 13th Birthday. Of course we will be celebrating together all week on our birthday trip, then all month after we get home.

This morning we went to check out a house for sale in Avondale that hasn't been updated in over 50 years. It obviously has a new thermostat (& A/C) but it was the instructions that caught my eye. Wow!
The folks who owned the house must've done their ironing in the garage.
This afternoon, the composite decking materials for Mary's upper deck were delivered to her house.
Stella is such a good helper. She doesn't even mind helping out on her birthday!
After dinner we walked by the Murray Hill Theatre box office. Of course I had to stop & snap a pic!
Harry & Sally have come over every day this week. Stella told them they may not recognize her tomorrow, since she's getting a much needed haircut.

Evanne came over today & did puzzles with Google & Stella. Next time I think she should do her own puzzle. I'll even put human treats in it!
Since I had a bad cold & feeling under the weather, I decided it was time for some Pastina. I'm sure I'll be better in no time!

It's hard to tell how tiny Pastina is without something for scale. It's itty bitty!
4 minutes for al dente. I only cook it for 3 minutes since it will still cook a little when the broth is added.
