Airstream Factory

This was our third trip to the Airstream factory in the last 26 years. We also went on roadtrips in 2000 & 2005. It's in Jackson Center, Ohio & It's so different than it was in 2005. They added the Airstream Heritage Center which is a 16,000 sq ft museum. It features more than a dozen vintage Airstream models on display, in-depth exhibits, artifacts from Airstream Caravans & an immersive walk through of almost a century of iconic history.

Eating popcorn while watching them build Airstreams. It's better than going to the movies!

Riley's First Campground

Last night was Riley's first night at a campground. We stayed at Claytor Lake State Park in Dublin, VA. Google showed her the ropes & she loved it!

Here's another old theater.

We stopped at Tamarack Marketplace in Beckley, WV. It's a cultural center with a fine art gallery, working artisan studios, a theater, restaurant & an open air gallery. Such a cool building!

Crackerdocking, Bug Wall & Shell Oil Clamshell

We Crackerdocked last night with the big Prevosts 

This morning we had our Bug Wall installation on the side & rear doors in our Embassy in Conway, SC.

After that we went to the Last Shell Oil Clamshell Station in Winston-Salem, NC. We've been here on a prior road trip but it's a great spot.

Google & Riley wanted to pose with the cannonballs at White Point Garden in Charleston, SC.

We decided to go to Saltwater Cowboys in Mount Pleasant, SC for lunch. They were very dog friendly & even had a dog menu! It's selfie time!

 Riley was so happy there was a burger on the dog menu!

There's nothing better than a restaurant that loves pups. There were so many here!

 

We didn't eat at Jack's Cosmic Dogs but there were plenty of photo ops.

 Riley got her haircut today. She's ready to roadtrip!

Propel Score ... & Toy Score!

The new packets of Propel powder are for 20 ounces of water. That's CRAZY since most water bottles are 16.9 ounces. I had to try to stock up on the old packets but they were impossible to find. I finally found 36 boxes at various Walmarts. I'll have to switch to 20 ounces after I finish these 360 packets. Now you can only can only buy them on eBay for 3-4 times what they used to cost.

 

Riley seems just as happy with all of her toys as I am with all of my Propel!

Riley & Google like snuggling in the big pup bed sometimes. It's more fun than being in their own separate beds.

  

Doorbell Training, Climbing & Mulching

Anna & the kids came over again to help train Riley with doorbell ringing. First they ring the bell. Riley doesn't bark or run to the door. Then they get ice cream or frozen fruit bars & climb the holly tree. 

This time it was a little different. When Anna noticed I was dreading putting down 50 bags of mulch, she said she could do it in 15 minutes. It was amazing to see everyone work so fast to do a job that would've taken all day.
