I got completely sidetracked when I saw this old very rusty Volkswagen van in the parking lot of the hospital's ER. Of course I had to shoot a bunch of pix before doing anything else.

These sure look like bullet holes.

Stella's New Job

Stella finally got her own Home Depot apron. When she wears it, everybody in the store smiles & wants to meet her.

Dogtoberfest 2012

Today Stella & I went to Dogtoberfest at Metropolitan Park. We met lots of nice pups & had fun trick or treating for doggie snacks. One drawback ... Stella really hated the band.

Strut Your Mutt

Today was the Strut Your Mutt charity dog walk at Riverside Park, to benefit homeless pets. The event was a great success, with over 400 participants and over $30,000 raised to support homeless pets.

 The PGA TOUR's Mutts Who Putt team

Chandler took great care of Stella so I could take a few pix.

Stella had a BLAST & passed out as soon as we got home!

The PGA TOUR's Mutts Who Putt team raised $1000 for the event. It was the highest total for a corporate group & it earned us the Golden Biscuit Award.

Yippee ... the couches have arrived!

After 4 long months of waiting, my Ekornes furniture finally arrived from Norway. I got the Stressless Arion Highback couch & loveseat as well as a double ottoman. I spent a lot of time sitting on everything at European Leather Gallery before I ordered.

I think Stella approves!

JAX Beach Grafitti

Stella & I were out shopping when we drove past this awesome shark graffiti on the side of a tattoo parlor. Of course I had to pull over to shoot some pix.

Tracie & I got to the Apple Store in St John's Town Center around 4am. We were number 51 & 52 in line. We had a great time!

The guy behind us in line was wearing this t-shirt.

Super Food Truck at Work

Today the Super Food Truck came to HQ. Jennifer & I went to have lunch. We shared a bunch of things on the menu.

Mac & Cheese Balls

Pulled Pork Quesadilla with Mexican cheese, honey lime slaw, guacamole & sour cream.

Chicken Bahn Mi ... marinated chicken with cucumber-carrot-daikon-hoisin slaw & cilantro aiolo on a fresh baguette.

Fried Cheesecake on a stick with raspberry sauce. This definitely put us over the edge.

Best Stick Ever!

Grandma brought Stella a huge delicious stick, all the way from New York. I don't think Stella will ever be able to eat a Florida stick again.

Sleepaway Camp

Stella was at Pet Paradise for the past 8 days while I was in NY. It's truly a luxury resort for your best friend. Stella had a 2-room suite with a view of the dog bone shaped pool.

I got to watch her on the poolside webcam while I was gone.

When I picked her up, I didn't get much of a greeting. I was so bummed. I thought she was upset with me for sending her to camp. Since it was around 1am, they had to wake her up. She was in a sleep induced stupor. She passed out in the car & on my bed as soon as we got home. In the morning, I found this nice card with a handwritten note & pix of Stella having a blast. She had so much fun at sleepaway camp!

JFK-JAX

There was a beautiful sunset on the way to the airport.

When I got to JFK I walked down to the beginning of the departure ramp to shoot this photo with my iPhone. It's definitely one of my all-time favs!

Melissa at Joe's Pub

Amy won a pair of tickets to the Melissa Etheridge concert at Joe's Pub in NYC. Her new album debuted today & this was a special show to play some new songs. Melissa gave away 50 pairs of tickets. Amy & Howie are REALLY lucky! Earlier this year, Howie won tickets to Bruce Springsteen at the Apollo Theater.

Awesome show! It was amazing seeing a concert in such a small venue.

Labor Day Diving

I went to visit Stella's brother Bailey at Amy & Howie's house. I really wanted to take some pix of Bailey diving.

He even went off the diving board ...

... & once landed on Amy!

Bailey had a blast but was totally exhausted.

Tonight Beth & Sam got married at Gotham Hall in Manhattan. It was a beautiful wedding!
