Stella Gets Mail!

Stella LOVES getting mail … especially when it's a care package from the Cohen family with Dorann's homemade dog biscuits!

The Turkey Dinner Bones & Tidbits were made from turkey, carrots, green beans, potatoes, gravy, eggs & wheat flour. The Dessert Cookies were made from banana, oats, peanut butter, eggs, wheat flour & parsley (for fresh breath). YUM!

Hey gimme a treat already!

I don't think Stella will ever eat a store bought treat again. These are delicious!

I had to shoot the dew on this flower in the backyard. It looked so good.

After shopping, Sandy, mom & I went to Shake Shack in Boca just to pick up a Poochini sundae for Stella. I planned ahead & brought a cooler so it didn't melt on the way home.

Dinner for 27

Tonight I had dinner with family & friends at Bobby & Patty's house.

There were 3 types of homemade challah ... orange fennel, plain & my favorite ... chocolate chip. YUM!

South Florida Getaway

Stella loves a good road trip. She always looks so comfy!

When we stopped for gas, a woman at the next pump came over to meet her. There was a lot of wagging going on.

Stella loved meeting Amber & Dorann. She was especially intrigued when Dorann mentioned making homemade dog treats!

Every time Stella was missing, I found her in the bedroom we usually use at mom & Hank's house. I have a whole series of photos of her from different times. It was hilarious.

She didn't understand why we were sleeping in another bedroom but we were expecting 5 more guests.

Weekend with the Pups

First order of business ... hang the beautiful painting Rob & Lauren made of Stella. LOVE IT!

Second order of business ... get the Anhinga out of the backyard, even if it means waking up all of the neighbors.

Mary went to the Optometrist & Google just sat there in his flannel shirt until she came back. So cute!

We decided to leave the pups home & go out shopping. Stella slept on her bed & Google slept in the crate all afternoon.

After going to 3 different Targets, Mary finally scored the coveted Elmer Fudd hat for Google to wear with his new shirt. I call this shot "The Nude & Never Nude," ... a tribute to Tobias in Arrested Development.

Freezing Inside ,,, Then Toasty Warm

After not having heat for over a week & having to shower in my 61 degree bathroom, I finally had a new central heat & air system installed. Stella was a big help!

Since I have 3 zones, I couldn't get the Nest. Instead, I got 3 awesome Honeywell 9000 WiFi thermostats.

I can even change the display color to match any room.

 The iPhone app is great!
