Mayo Clinic Rochester Tours

We went to Cafe Steam for breakfast.

This pup was waiting for his master to get back to the car with his coffee.

When I first got to Mayo, Mary took me on a tour. This is the Center for the Spirit.

The front doors of the Plummer Building are huge & have very detailed carvings

Mary took me to all the cool spots.

The Library is beautiful.

The Mayo Historical Suite has some an awesome collection of old stuff.

In the afternoon, I went on an awesome guided art tour of Mayo. All of the original amazing artwork at Mayo has been donated.

One of the Warhol displays.

The Chihuilly is massive.

Lou Gehrig's mitt & autographed ball in a display describing his time at Mayo. His diagnosis became known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

Helaines & heading north

Before heading home, we went to Helaine & Norm's house for breakfast.

Stella loves to be comfy on the long drive home ...

... but she always wears her Sleepypod Sport seatbelt.

Glass Fusion & Passover Night 2

This morning I went to a class at Fused In Glass in Boynton Beach with Helaine, Andrea & Mary. I made an MCM style plate in Catalina Beach Club cabana colors.

Mary made an MCM platter.

Everybody had fun!

We had to cut all of our own glass.

This was before mine was fired in the kiln.

A few weeks later, Helaine picked up our plates & platters & brought them to PVB on her way to NY. I think it looks really nice.

Later on, we went to Bobby & Patty's for the 2nd night of Passover. Bobby asked everyone of they wanted the short seder or long one. Of course the vote was unanimous!

I think we had 37 people for dinner.

As always, Billy LOVES telling Adam he won't find the afikoman

But of course, he always does ...

... & gets a money book!

Mary shot an awesome silhouette of me shooting an iPhone pic with the sunset reflecting in their breakfast room window.
