Food of the Week

Saturday night Tracie made some awesome pizza.

Sunday night Anna made spaghetti bolognaise & cheesy garlic bread. Here's the the butter with fresh chopped basil & parsley.

Starbucks for a jolt on Wednesday to get me thru my dentist & 3 doctors appointments.

Big Alphalam Install

Today Brian drove up to PVB to hang lots of big Alphalams ... about 50 at East HQ, West HQ, TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse & Sawgrass Village. They ranged in size from 24x36 to 36x54 to 22x96. I only took a couple of snaps but they look great.

South Florida

I went to South Florida to help my mom, Hank & Adam with their move.

Very cool crackle glass table at a barstool store.

I got a spot in the white car section at my mom & Hank's condo. Apparently all of the guests drive white cars.

PHOTOJAX 2011

My iPhone picture of Rob fishing in PVB at sunrise was projected on the exterior of the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville tonight as part of the 5x500 Project during PHOTOJAX 2011. I'm bummed I was out of town & wasn't there to see it.

September 11th

Today I dug out & wore a US Open t-shirt from 2001 that shows the World Trade Center in the NYC skyline. The towers collapsed the day after the US Open ended. I haven't worn the t-shirt since & just put it away thinking it was important to keep. Never forget.

Rob, Anna, Tyler & Hank came over to watch some tennis with Stella & me. Hank seems to be passed out. I'm not sure if it's from Stella, or watching the tennis ball fly back & forth over the net in high def.

After tennis, Rob cut down some palm fronds. Stella thought they were giant sticks for her & sliced both of my ankles dragging one over my feet. OUCH!!!

Friday After Work

On our walk after work, Stella & I got to see some cool sidewalk chalk art on our street in the hood (there are no sidewalks).

 

Then we got to play with the hose ...

... and then we passed out!

I'm just happy neither one of them saw this bug. They definitely would have thought it was snack worthy.
