Waiting for the bullet train to Paris at Gare d'Avignon TGV.
Since I was going to be in Paris for one night, I was looking forward to seeing my old friends & staying at Hotel Passy Home, a small family owned & operated hotel I stayed in for the 15 years I covered Roland Garros. Unfortunately, it was sold about 3 years ago. Now it's a small, amazing high-end boutique hotel called Hotel Félicien (this link is a great article). Here's a link to their Facebook page & their website.
Famous French clothing designer Olivier Lapidus, has used his exceptional talent to create this exquisite contemporary hotel. The design & attention to detail is like nothing I've ever seen. Simply awesome!
The breakfast room.
I want this espresso machine!
Each floor has a theme. I was on the couture floor (4th). Every room in the hotel has it's own unique design. No two rooms are alike. Check out the photo gallery on their website. The images are awesome!
Mini bar snacks.
The LED closet rod lit up every time the door opens.
I spent the afternoon walking around Paris, shooting iPhone pix.
