Wet & Wild

Since I knew I was gonna give Stella a shower before her sleepover date with her boyfriend Hank, it was the perfect time for some backyard fun. There's nothing she likes more than playing with the hose. It's even better than chasing lizards!

Some curious ducks swam by to check out the commotion & see my flying dog.

 What do you mean it's time for a shower? I'm not done playing with the hose yet!

Work & Play

Stupid backyard egret (that's what my dog called her). Can anyone see that house on the right behind all of those trees & bushes? Yeah, me neither!

When looking for chocolate in the office, look no further than the obvious ... the office microwave!

Yesterday Stella passed out after a playdate with Luke.

Today she had a playdate with Hank.

Thursday After Work

Since Stella was going to get a shower after work, I let her have an extended hose-play session. It doesn't get any better than this for my water lovin' pup.

I totally made up this dinner recipe as I went along. London broil served over short grain brown rice with blanched snow peas mixed with scallions, sesame oil, black & white sesame seeds topped with dry roasted sunflower seeds. Yum! The snow pea recipe is the same I make to go in the seared spicy tuna lettuce wraps.

Stella's Parents Have Puppies!

Rosie is truly smiling after delivering 5 Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier pups. Does anybody want a Stella sibling?

Afterwards, I decided it was time to buy Stella a raincoat because she LOVES the rain. If she wants to stay outside for hours trying to catch every raindrop that falls from the sky, she's gonna have to wear her new outerwear. I'm tired of having a wet, stinky dog after every rainy day.

After I backed out of my garage this morning, I jumped out of my car to shoot this shadow on the front of my house.

I had a really bad headache when I went home for lunch, but Stella managed to make it better.

After work, Stella showed this duck how she feels about trespassers. This was shot right before the duck took off.

The master of her domain ... keeping the yard free of intruders.

Luke was in his backyard, saw Stella & ran straight over to play. Stella looks like she's about to kiss him.
