Scorching Saturday

I went to "The Perch" to do a shoot with Bob Costas. I accidentally got there an hour early so no one was around. I amused myself by taking a blog photo on the set, then I came back an hour later.

The heat was even taking its toll on this gator. He decided to take a dip in the water off the 18th fairway.

Peter and crew came to town to shoot panoramas. He lent me his 35mm roundshot.

My favorite thing to shoot at the International Dinner was the butter.

Yes Ma'am!

Since Tiger wasn't gonna be at the past champions portrait unveiling at the Clubhouse Grand Opening Gala tonight, he stopped by after his practice round to do the honors. At first he wasn't smiling, so when I asked him to smile, he said, "Yes Ma'am!"
I guess he knew I meant business. ;o) He's got a great smile!

Early Birds!

It's the first day of the 2007 PLAYERS Championship week. Pat took Mary & me around the course to shoot some pix at sunrise.

Cinco de Mayo

Today was Mary's birthday. She drove up to PVB for the week to shoot THE PLAYERS. Brandon went to shoot the UBS 17th Hole Challenge in Rockefeller Center.

The clubhouse was almost finished ...

but they had a small set-back ...
I wonder what Mike's gonna do next?

I can't believe they're painting the bleachers.

The crew who built the mini replica of 17 in Rockefeller Center put the finishing touches on the UBS Golf Challenge in THE PLAYERS Tournament Village.

Testing

What the Duck celebrated its Bicentennial today. Jack Howard wrote a great article for Popular Photography about the Duck.

I got an email from Mike saying there was something odd with one of my clubhouse photos. I'm not sure what he means.

Peter Lorber came to town with his wife Addie to do some more panorama test shots. This time he brought 3 different Roundshot cameras. John perched himself in the window of the broadcast booth while Peter shot 17.

Even though Chris had Peter's 39 megapixel Hasselblad H3D on his shoulder, he still opted for the quality of his little Fuji F30.

What a poser!

Road Trip ... Savannah

I'm in Savannah for the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf. Before dinner at Saigon, Chris & I walked around the historic district. It was awesome!
