Crazy Storm!

Today started off with a beautiful blue sky & the United States Army Special Operations Command 'Black Knights' parachuting in during the Military Appreciation Day Ceremony.

Shortly after, a massive, destructive storm moved in. This is the remnants of the giant leaderboard on 18.

It was nuts!

The wind toppled two TV towers sending the camera that was on this platform into the lake.

Today has to be a better day. Yesterday we had four fire alarms on property. The first alarm lasted 4 hours & blew up my strobes. When I saw smoke was billowing out of them, I knew it was time to rent some lights.

Happy "big" birthday to me! This mini chocolate dessert was fab!

After four days, there were a lot of player autographs on the pin flags.

Stella & I got to FaceTime after my birthday dinner. Thanks Rob!

Stella's First Birthday Week!

Since Stella's first birthday is this Thursday (March 3rd), I thought I would bake a doggie cake & have a little party.

Luke & Hank joined Stella for her soirée.

I don't think Stella knew she was supposed to blow out her candles.

Yum! The peanut butter & carrot birthday cake was a big hit.

Everybody devoured it!

They were so full they needed a nap, but managed to pose for a photo.

Tracie & Shelby came over later in the day for a piece of birthday cake.

Then Jack & Jill brought Logan over for cake. He wasn't too fond of the party hats! Stella had a GREAT day filled with so much fun & so many friends. She wishes Tori wasn't out-of-town, but saved her a piece of yummy birthday cake.

Wheaten Wall & Playdate

Today Greg came over to hang my Wheaten wall. First we took down a large Alphalam of Tally to relocate across the room.

Even without opposable thumbs, Stella managed to help out.

Greg prides himself in being more of a perfectionist than I. At one point he muttered, "Oh that's waaay off!" He meant it was off by 1/8" & proceeded to fix it. Wow!

Logan (left) our Wheaten neighbor came over with Jack & Jill for an impromptu playdate. He & Stella had a blast. It was hard to get them to sit still for a photo.
